Artist Statement
My work is for the glory of God. My pieces are a testimony– a visual allegory of walking in faith. They reveal the uncensored reality of being a contemporary Christian woman. I expound on classic biblical narratives and motifs through a new artistic lens. I often employ dynamic movement, gritty texture, and bold lines to convey raw emotion in my figures. My pieces illustrate the range of experiences we have with the Divine, and ultimately the desire to know God. My works are not pictures of perfection– they are confessions of the brokenness which led me to Christ.
